Toad Hall Cottages

This enchanting detached cottage resembles a pretty little dolls house and is right on what is considered to be one of the best beaches in this glorious part of the world. Originally built in traditional West Indian style architecture by an artist as his Caribbean retreat and art studio and furnished with tropical fabrics and artwork, this delightful property, with a cosy ambience, is perfect for those wishing to enjoy a holiday, with almost everything that the Caribbean has to offer on the doorstep.
There are many personal touches and effects, as it is very much the owner's (an interior designer) second home. The views from all the rooms, apart from the 2nd bedroom, are quite beautiful. Imagine sipping a rum punch, whilst reclining in a hammock on your own private sun-deck on the beach, wearing only a sarong, (men may prefer a pair of shorts!) watching the sun go down and listening to rustling coconut palms and whistling tree frogs. Yes, we think this is a little bit of paradise.

Accommodation
Entrance through arched Mediterranean style doors from rear enclosed courtyard into combination open plan living/dining room, with tiled floor and doors on 3 sides, comfortable cane furniture, dining table and chairs, cable TV and stereo tape/CD system. Two sets of double doors open out to the sun-deck with sun-loungers and garden furniture and which is right on the beach. Well fitted and equipped kitchen area, including large gas cooker and fridge/freezer.
Steep spiral staircase with open, narrow treads, up to small landing, off which there is a delightful double bedroom and shower room with shower, large vanity unit with basin and WC. This is truly a bathroom with a view! French doors from the living room to main courtyard situated on the opposite side of the cottage from the entrance courtyard, off which there is a further double bedroom and a separate small shower room, with central shower area, basin and WC. Both beds are queen size and have mosquito nets.

Outside
Beach-side sun-deck with recliners and garden furniture and also a fully enclosed courtyard/patio which is totally private and has garden table and chairs, Webber BBQ and door to the beach.
