Toad Hall Cottages

Mahoe Bay is a beautiful area situated on the leeward (western) side of Virgin Gorda with glorious white sand beaches. Sea Fans occupies a fantastic position, right beside the beach and a short swim from shore there is a coral reef, excellent for snorkelling in your own back yard! Due to the position of the reef, it has the additional advantage in that it is a very private beach and ideal for children of all ages. The villa benefits from the gentle sea breeze and offers exceptional accommodation, the accent being very much on privacy, space and comfort, there is even a "wet bar" beside the full size swimming pool, complete with ice-maker.
Sea Fans has been uniquely designed with great flair and imagination, from the high cathedral roof to the hexagonal bedrooms, each having its own large covered terrace with teak furniture and separate entrance.
The flooring in all the living areas is Mexican stone tiling and "earth tones" are prevalent throughout the interior, contrasting with and enhancing the bright and colourful tropical print furnishings

Accommodation
Enormous very comfortably furnished living room with cathedral ceiling and 4 ceiling fans and comprises an L shaped sitting area with TV and video (no cable), stereo system and library of books, videos, games and CDs. Dining area with glass top, stone base table seating six. Modern, extremely well equipped kitchen area with gas cooker, microwave, dishwasher, very large fridge/freezer with water and ice dispenser and beautifully polished granite top centre island with stools beneath.
Each of the hexagonal air-conditioned bedrooms have their own separate access, along with en-suite bathrooms and "outdoor/indoor" showers; all have King size beds. There is a separate two-storey building with two bedrooms, each with an en-suite shower room and the first floor bedroom even has a kitchenette.

Outside
The 20ft x 40ft swimming pool (the largest in the area) with an underwater seat and lighting, is situated between the covered patio and the beach, beside which there is an area of "Oklahoma" stone decking with teak lounge chairs and a table with umbrella. There are several shaded areas attached to the house, including a Bougainvillea covered terrace with a stone dining table seating four. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with colourful flowers, several varieties of palms, banana, lime and grapefruit trees. Native boulders rest comfortably around the gardens, directing the various lighted paths to their destination. Nearby there is a tennis court (for the shared use of all the Mahoe Bay properties).
